Friends of DIWC…
Support for DIWC can be done in many ways. Volunteering in classes and activities, being on the management board, fundraising, supporting DIWC professionally and through financial donations.
We are a charity and heavily rely on funding grants from charitable trusts and donations from individuals as well as organisations.
Gift Aid is a government scheme to enable tax-effective giving by individuals to charities in the United Kingdom. A charity can reclaim the basic rate of income tax paid on the gift from the government if the person donating is a UK tax payer.
